1784 Mrs Beeston was advertising her "strengthening sea baths"
1833 The Lymington Bath and Improvement Company raised £6,000 to build the present Bath House,
designed by local architect William Bartlett
1930 The Minister of Health approved a loan of £2,000 to enable Lymington Borough Council to
purchase the baths "to improve the well-being of the public"
1933 They were described as the "...finest sea water baths seen anywhere..."
